Suck It Up, Buttercup: Trust and Betrayal in American Healthcare is an investigative documentary exposing the growing crisis within America’s healthcare system. Through candid accounts from physicians, nurses, patients, families, and frontline leaders, the film examines how corporate consolidation, unsafe staffing, bureaucracy, and profit-driven decisions are affecting patient care and pushing clinicians to exhaustion. It also highlights those working to restore integrity, transparency, and accountability to medicine—and challenges viewers to envision a healthcare system that puts people before profit.
