1st Annual Resident Research Award

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – DEADLINE JULY 31, 2023

OAOS is pleased to announce its 1st Annual Resident Research Award. This competition encourages and rewards the efforts of orthopedic residents in submitting scientific work for recognition by colleagues and our organization.

The awards will be presented to physicians, currently in orthopedic residency training in Oregon, in recognition of outstanding original research in orthopedics.

Two awards will be presented at the meeting: a $1,000 cash honorarium for the top-rated abstract and a $500 cash honorarium for the second highest-rated paper.  Selected recipients will also have the opportunity to present at the OAOS 2023 Annual Orthopaedic Conference on October 20, 2023 at The Nines Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

Applicants will be notified of the selection committee’s decision by September 15, 2023.
