Josh Davis, PT, DPT

Josh Davis is a physical therapist who has been living in the Portland area for three years. He graduated undergrad from The Ohio State University and received his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo. Following graduation, Josh completed an orthopedic residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where he gained experience with youth athletes and post-surgical patients. Josh currently works at Apex PWR where he sees a wide variety of active individuals including operative and nonoperative cases. Josh has his certified strength and conditioning specialty and has a special interest in working with strength athletes and weightlifters. When Josh isn’t working or lifting weights he enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, skiing, scuba diving and traveling.  

Michael Makher, PT, DPT

Michael Makher is a native of Pennsylvania and New York, earning his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the City University of New York. Four years ago Michael moved to Oregon and joined ATI at the former KOR Hillsboro location. Since then he’s moved on to other groups working extensively with patients dealing with persistent pain. In early 2022 he joined the ApexPWR group as their second full time physical therapist and younger youth athlete performance coach. He’s also earned his USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach credential in 2022 and has worked extensively with athletes particularly those in the high school age group.
