Parking/Entry Instructions: Lots 57 & 62 are free of charge on the weekends. Spaces that are reserved for University of Oregon or Knight Campus should be avoided as they are assigned to individual employees and are subject to ticketing. The Millrace Parking Garage will also be open, but costs $10 per day. The map above shows the location of these lots, the garage, and where to enter the building for the tour. This info can also be found on our website. The group should plan to meet at the location marked ‘Enter KC here.’

Step 1: Complete Online Course Evaluation

After the meeting you will be able to click here to complete the Online Course Evaluation.  

Step 2: CME Certificate will be Emailed

MDs and DOs: After you submit your online course evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to a CME certificate to complete and return to staff@oregonorthopaedicsurgeons.com. Please keep a copy on file for your records.

Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners will receive a certificate via email which can be submitted to their accrediting body for continuing medical education credit.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Oregon Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons designates the Oregon Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2024 Annual Orthopaedic Conference, November 1-2, 2024, in Eugene, Oregon (live activity) for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Target Audience/Program Focus

OAOS plans educational activities for orthopaedic doctors in Oregon and surrounding areas. We seek to serve the educational needs of our membership, as well as the needs of local and regional orthopaedic doctors. Our program is open to orthopaedic physicians and physician assistants that are currently in practice, orthopaedic physicians in residency programs, as well as retired and part-time physicians.

Dr. Paul Tornetta is Professor and Chairman and Residency Program Director in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine and the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma for Boston Medical Center. Dr. Tornetta received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He earned his medical degree from SUNY-Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery, followed by a Fellowship in Acetabular/Pelvic Fractures at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles under Joel Matta, MD. He received his PhD from the University of Groningen, Netherlands in December 2022. Click here for full bio.
