After you submit your online course evaluation, OAOS staff will email you a certificate to complete and return. Please keep a copy on file for your records. Target Audience/Program Focus
OAOS plans educational activities for orthopaedic doctors in Oregon and surrounding areas. We seek to serve the educational needs of our membership, as well as the needs of local and regional orthopaedic doctors. Our program is open to orthopaedic physicians and physician assistants that are currently in practice, orthopaedic physicians in residency programs, as well as retired and part-time physicians.

Dr. Paul Tornetta is Professor and Chairman and Residency Program Director in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine and the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma for Boston Medical Center. Dr. Tornetta received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He earned his medical degree from SUNY-Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery, followed by a Fellowship in Acetabular/Pelvic Fractures at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles under Joel Matta, MD. He received his PhD from the University of Groningen, Netherlands in December 2022. Click here for full bio.
